My dear sister-in-law, Shelly, asked me to throw her a bachelorette party. I love to throw a party, but I fretted a bit on how to make this one perfect. It kind of just came together when I saw this idea for a Twilight themed party. What better person than to throw a Twilight party for! Shelly has read the Twilight series more than seven times! Shelly, this was all for you! Congratulations on your upcoming wedding...

The Games
*Twilight Trivia
-Shelly got 14 out of 15 questions & technically won the prize, but as the guest of honor, the prize went to the next winner who got 13.5. She was also an avid Twilight fan and has read the series almost as much as Shelly.
Prize: Twilight candy cup
*Teddy Toss
-A teddy was placed in a sack and the object of this game was like hot potato & musical chairs. You didn't want to be the last one standing with the bag in your hand or else you had to wear the teddy for the rest of the night. My sister-in-law, Deana, "lost" but what was revealed was a teddy BEAR in the sack & the prize of a gift card to Victoria's Secret.
*Hands Down
-Everyone was asked to trace their hand with their non-dominant hand on the ground and bending over. I told everyone that Shelly would judge the results & pick a winner. Secretly, I asked Trisha to write down everyone's comments. Then I told the group that these were things Shelly might say on the night of her honeymoon! Some of the funny things said:
1. Mine looks like it has a growth on it
2. I think I broke mine
3. That was fast
4. I'm done
5. I've had enough
Prize: Golden Onion & Twilight dinner to go (I decorated one of those plastic craft paint cans & placed in it an Italian cream sauce packet & pasta).
*Secret Word
-Shelly was asked to have a secret word and whenever someone said her secret word she was supposed to place a Twilight pin on them. Well, the word was too hard I guess as at the end of the evening no one had said it so she gave us hints and finally Trisha said "massage".
I think all in all, the party turn out was great & that everyone had a good time.

I wish I could have gone. I knew that you were putting a lot of work into the party, but it looks like you really outdid yourself!!! We are excited to see you this weekend.
