Highlights 2 of 2

The first video is short, so I've added a second with more pictures to share with everyone.

Just Some Highlights...

Happiest Place On Earth

We're back from where? Disneyland of course! We had so much fun, needless to say. On the very last day we finally got to see Mickey Mouse. I think I was the most excited out of all of us to see him. I think it's because I didn't think we'd actually see him this trip. It was late and the last night in Disneyland so my expectations of actually seeing the big mouse home was low. But, we went through his house fairly quickly and at the end was a very short line to see you know who. It was definitely worth it.

Dalmation Day

Lex was so excited for Kindergarten today because it's "Dalmation Party" Day. Today they are counting to 100. He's bringing Cheerios, but all the students can bring whatever they want. They were also encouraged to dress like a dalmation. Isabel saw what was going on and instantly wanted her face to look like a puppy, too. Once I was done, she was down on the floor crawling around like a puppy. I think she's going to love school just as much as Lex does.

"Had a Bad Day"

It's kinda hard to tell from these pics, but yesterday Isabel was playing, tripped, and landed right on her face. She's got a bump on her chin, swollen upper lip, and tore that piece of skin that is connected to the lip and the gums. I have no idea what it's called, but she was bleeding pretty bad. So, needless to say, she had a bad day. Poor baby!

This morning, though, the swelling had gone down significantly and she was happy. It doesn't appear it's hurting her anymore as she eats without wincing. Thank goodness!

She's Ready To Go

I don't think she quite knows where she's going yet, but she's happy to be dressed for the occasion. Lex on the other hand tells me first thing every morning how many days are left. He just can't wait (like me)!

About Me

My photo
Shane and I met my senior year of high school in 1996 and were married in 2000. It's just crazy to think we've known each other for more than a decade and still learn new things about each other. We both graduated from the University of Utah. I have a degree in Finance and Shane has a degree in Biology. We are both enjoying jobs in our respective fields. Our favorite thing to do is travel. Before we started a family, we spent two weeks in Europe touring Italy, Germany, Switzerland, and France. We want to see the world and hopefully take our children along with us when they are older. Our children are our life. Alexander "Lex" is our little man at 7 years old. He loves to try lots of new things. He's currently enrolled in soccer, tumbling & boys' hip hop. Isabel (or Bel as Shane likes to call her) is 3 1/2 years old. She is also enrolled in tumbling & dance. All in all, life is wonderful and we couldn't be happier.
