The Kill

Just thought that would be a good, catchy title for our camping trip last weekend. It was Shane & Lex's annual antelope hunt with Grandpa & Grandma Jorgensen in Wyoming. It was the first year that Isabel & I went with. I only agreed because we got to stay in our new trailer. Check out the pictures. They speak louder than words... there's lots to see!

And to end, the funny things kids say and do:

Lex: "I need to pee! Somebody hold my lizard!" Story: We're in the middle of nowhere and Lex has to pee and is holding a toy lizard.

Bel: "I need to go potty, too!" (I know, a pretty normal saying for a 3 yr old.) Story: We're packing up the trailer and Lex needs to pee (again) so I tell him to pee by a bush (he's pro by now). I turn around to make sure he hadn't wandered far and I see Isabel with her pants around her ankles wanting to pee in the bushes too! Wasn't expecting that!

Isabel's Gymnastics Trial

Lex has been in tumbling for a year now and the schedule this fall included a preschool tumbling class at the same time as his class so I figured I'd let Isabel try a lesson and see if she liked it. She really enjoyed herself and did awesome considering it was her first one! I was a proud mommy :)

It's kinda hard to see (camera video clip), but here's the drill:

1: Roll down wedge mat
2: Jumps with alternating airplane arms and stop-sign arms
3: Floor rolls
4: Intro to cartwheels
5: Circle jumps
6: Intro to handstand

That's a lot of instruction all at once for a 3 year old, but she remembered it all!
