The Jazz Studio Year End Recital

My little stinkers performed their year end dances for us to show off their developing skills. It was a lot of fun watching them and they really enjoyed being on stage.

Lex had the most enjoyable mini-solo during one of his routines. Sadly, he will not be in the boys' hip hop next season due to too many activities. He had three this year and he had to choose only two and this was the one he dropped. Shane & I were both hoping he'd keep this one as it is so entertaining. Maybe another year.

Isabel's first dance was to "Country Boy". This is her goofing around backstage before her performance.

Bel's favorite costume for her "My Strongest Suit" performance. Such a princess!

"My Strongest Suit" performance~ We were so relieved to see her dance on stage considering the Christmas recital mishap (but who could blame her, it was a solo!)

Ms. Jess & Jazz/Hip Hop class 2009/10

Awards~ Lex wasn't too thrilled that his trophy was a ballerina, but luckily a friend has one with a star that she is going to trade with him.

How fun!! I wish Carlie's dance studio gave trophies!! It is hard when you have them in too many things but hard to choose what to keep too:)

About Me

My photo
Shane and I met my senior year of high school in 1996 and were married in 2000. It's just crazy to think we've known each other for more than a decade and still learn new things about each other. We both graduated from the University of Utah. I have a degree in Finance and Shane has a degree in Biology. We are both enjoying jobs in our respective fields. Our favorite thing to do is travel. Before we started a family, we spent two weeks in Europe touring Italy, Germany, Switzerland, and France. We want to see the world and hopefully take our children along with us when they are older. Our children are our life. Alexander "Lex" is our little man at 7 years old. He loves to try lots of new things. He's currently enrolled in soccer, tumbling & boys' hip hop. Isabel (or Bel as Shane likes to call her) is 3 1/2 years old. She is also enrolled in tumbling & dance. All in all, life is wonderful and we couldn't be happier.
