Second Annual Grandma Party

Grandma V. Jorgensen hosted her annual "Grandma Party" in Logan over Memorial Weekend. This year was a camping theme. All the grandkids love getting together and she had so many fun activities & crafts for them. It's a sleepover party so they all crash on the living room floor camping style. It was meant to be a backyard camp out, but the weather just hasn't been warm enough yet this year.

THE BOYS

THE GIRLS

THE GANG

Taryn (along with Brynn & Mayla) weren't old enough yet for the party, but they each still got her own set of pajamas.

The party didn't start until the evening and Shane was out with his dad & brothers at the Cache Valley Rendezvous so I headed up to Layton to Tai Pan Trading's tent sale. This is what I got to do.

Shane told Lex that he can have a pet (i.e. dog, cat, etc) when "pigs fly". Well, wouldn't you know he found one at Tai Pan. Please, daddy? :)

Isabel with her clearance windmill-thingy. (What are they called anyway?!)

I want these pillows for my couches in the living room... and the shelves they're sitting on!

We also stopped at Joann's to pick up some party supplies. Can't resist the dollar aisle and found this for Isabel. Fits her perfectly!

On the drive back from Layton, this is what we encountered and is why there was no backyard camp out. When will summer get here??

Ooh, I love Tai Pan, we will have to go sometime together. Matt can't stand it when I drag him along with me.

Isabel looks so cute with her pinwheel. We all had fun, can't wait to see you this weekend.

About Me

My photo
Shane and I met my senior year of high school in 1996 and were married in 2000. It's just crazy to think we've known each other for more than a decade and still learn new things about each other. We both graduated from the University of Utah. I have a degree in Finance and Shane has a degree in Biology. We are both enjoying jobs in our respective fields. Our favorite thing to do is travel. Before we started a family, we spent two weeks in Europe touring Italy, Germany, Switzerland, and France. We want to see the world and hopefully take our children along with us when they are older. Our children are our life. Alexander "Lex" is our little man at 7 years old. He loves to try lots of new things. He's currently enrolled in soccer, tumbling & boys' hip hop. Isabel (or Bel as Shane likes to call her) is 3 1/2 years old. She is also enrolled in tumbling & dance. All in all, life is wonderful and we couldn't be happier.
