With Independence Day being on a Monday this year, it felt like a four day celebration! Lots of traveling and fireworks, but so much fun! We ended the long weekend at a friends' house with a pool party & BBQ. Lots of yummy food and water! Lex decided to get brave and do canon bombs. Once he decided to do it, he just kept doing it over and over again. Isabel was like a fish. She was the last one out of the pool and even then I had to entice her out with treats! Now if I could just get them to learn how to swim!
The fireworks were amazing this year. I think it was partly due to Utah's law allowing aerials. Shane helped some of the kids light a few fuses. Some of the neighbors shared on some really great firework boxes and these put on an amazing show for everyone.
