The Kill

Just thought that would be a good, catchy title for our camping trip last weekend. It was Shane & Lex's annual antelope hunt with Grandpa & Grandma Jorgensen in Wyoming. It was the first year that Isabel & I went with. I only agreed because we got to stay in our new trailer. Check out the pictures. They speak louder than words... there's lots to see!







And to end, the funny things kids say and do:

Lex: "I need to pee! Somebody hold my lizard!" Story: We're in the middle of nowhere and Lex has to pee and is holding a toy lizard.

Bel: "I need to go potty, too!" (I know, a pretty normal saying for a 3 yr old.) Story: We're packing up the trailer and Lex needs to pee (again) so I tell him to pee by a bush (he's pro by now). I turn around to make sure he hadn't wandered far and I see Isabel with her pants around her ankles wanting to pee in the bushes too! Wasn't expecting that!

Love the trailer!!! You need to tell Lance how wonderful it is so he will let us get one too!!:) Boys have it way to easy as far as bathroom needs go when you are out in the middle of nowhere!! Looks like so much fun!

looks like you had a good time. We still need to lex his birthday gift. Tell him that we thought about him on his birthday and we wished him one even though he wasn't there! Pretty good that you got a pic with grandparent, it is hard to do!!!!

Shane and I met my senior year of high school in 1996 and were married in 2000. It's just crazy to think we've known each other for more than a decade and still learn new things about each other. We both graduated from the University of Utah. I have a degree in Finance and Shane has a degree in Biology. We are both enjoying jobs in our respective fields. Our favorite thing to do is travel. Before we started a family, we spent two weeks in Europe touring Italy, Germany, Switzerland, and France. We want to see the world and hopefully take our children along with us when they are older. Our children are our life. Alexander "Lex" is our little man at 7 years old. He loves to try lots of new things. He's currently enrolled in soccer, tumbling & boys' hip hop. Isabel (or Bel as Shane likes to call her) is 3 1/2 years old. She is also enrolled in tumbling & dance. All in all, life is wonderful and we couldn't be happier.
